Compassion India Outreach helps under-privileged people living in the remote villages of northern India and Nepal. Our mission is to reach people for Christ, plant churches, sponsor Christian education, and help improve the living conditions of the people we serve through financial help and through implementing programs to address specific needs. We select, train, and financially support local pastors who have a calling for the mission to the rural people of India. We are committed to pray for them regularly and to also visit them annually to encourage and equip them in the mission work.
We currently have missionaries in several states in northern India and Nepal. Persecution, including imprisonment, is a constant problem, but because we operate in small rural villages, we draw far less attention to our work than ministries that operate in larger cities.
